Pancakes

So today, I had the most random craving for pancakes. I wasn't especially hungry and get my fair share of pancakes from IHOP or Dennys...  like every few weeks but I just wanted PANCAKES!  There wasn't any quick mix or even maple syrup at home but I was determined to make them. I quickly googled for a recipe and came up with this one... i think: Pancakes. But being a spontaneous chef, I decide to play around and do my own recipe and it turned out pretty yummy.

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, stirred or sifted before measuring
  • 1/2 cup cake flour
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • a piece of sea salt chocolate
I had cake flour lying around and though cake pancakes sounded fluffier so I put some in. Surprised it was pretty simple and easy to make. It pretty much took minutes to just dump everything into a bowl and slightly mix it up because you are not suppose to over mix or it wont turn out fluffy.  Then heat up the pan, cook until bubble and flip. I would have taken pictures but it was too easy. As I mentioned, no syrup but I always have a supply of chocolate, so I decided to put some chocolate for sweetness.

Still have pancake batter left for tomorrow :) and of course chocolate.
